A. Herner has been shaping his electronic sound since the early 1990s, drawing inspiration from Jean-Michel Jarre and Vangelis. His earlier releases include Retrology, Maze of Mind, Interkosmos, and Bon Voyage. The 2025 album Evolution is a reimagining of an idea from the 1990s, created 80% with analog synthesizers, with some tracks recorded on analog tape machines and then digitized to preserve their warm, atmospheric sound. The album features the Model D, Model 15, Kobol, Neutron, K-2 MKII, Pro-800, JD-08, and JT-4000, guiding listeners through a story-like journey reflecting the metaphor of personal, societal, and civilizational evolution.
