This is the first full-length album by Téleos, offering a more comprehensive exploration of the ideas previously introduced in the EP Desine Fata Devm... (2023). These ideas revolve around the phenomenon of human rationality, the responsibility that this faculty demands as a self-imposed obligation, and the challenges inherent in fulfilling that demand. Within the context of this album, these challenges are expressed in two distinct ways: The first is internal, pertaining to the abandonment of one’s own understanding in favor of judgments grounded in pseudosciences and dogmatic views of the world. The second is external, referring to the objective limitations imposed on our will by the fact that the world is undergoing a crisis that jeopardizes the vitality of ecosystems.

Both manifestations share a common thread: the urgent need to reclaim the sense of individual and collective responsibility.

Reason develops through self-knowledge. Consequently, the introspective character inherent to Téleos is, by the nature of its object, ever-changing. Téleos is about the imperfection of reason and its antinomic tendencies, but also about its transformative potential. This album serves as an essay on that idea.
