Michael "Wachtel Barnes" (born April 4, 1986), known professionally as Wachtel, is an American Musician and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Joliet, Illinois. He initially garnered a local following with the release of his Nut Ball single, Wachtel began his musical career in the late 2000s; where he founded Yungns Entertainment to releases his singles and mixtapes. 2024 Wachtel released Alton Mixtape on all platforms meeting great success been published in top 100 upcoming artists5 , hiphop-now, music's week7 paper planes, any many others etc... Releasing Videos and other content11 to provide the world with the new Great sound Wachtel Brings to life through his music.Michael Wachtel Barnes was born on April 4, 1986 He was raised in EverGreen housing projects in Joliet Illinois, As his father (Wachtel Alton Barnes) was locked away most of his child life in the local State Ville prison correction center , Wachtel and three other siblings was raised by his mother, Angela Stokes. Wachtel later met and reconciled with His father prior to his death in 2017 He attended Joliet Central High School and ETI Technical School After being kicked out of High School and sent to a alternative school. According to his interviews and lyrics, he sold Crack Cocaine to help his family eat and survive. Known as "YunGDon" around the neighborhood, he later adopted the stage name "Wachtel" in homage to his Father.
