Annotation

Mostly a compilation of selected master takes with excellent sound. Track 5 is the alternate take -2 of "Hocus Pocus", distinguished from the master take -1 by the Coleman Hawkins solo, particularly distinct at 1:30 - 1:45. Booklet page 8 confirms this is matrix number 81787-2, but misidentifies it as the Bluebird single take rather than the alternate take released later on LP.
